Here’s Our First Look at the Apple Developer Center

Tomorrow begins the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference and ahead of the big keynote, we’ve gotten our first look inside the new Developer Center, thanks to developer Nicola Giancecchi on Twitter.

There’s a lot to admire here, but the part that stands out the most to me is the hand drawn QR code for the Statue of Liberty app. To me, QR codes have always seemed too intricate for someone to successfully draw by hand and yet here we are. Even better? You can scan the QR code from the photo using Live Text and it will take you to the corresponding app on the App Store.

WWDC is like Christmas for those who like to get into the nitty gritty of Apple software, though, so it’s no surprise that the company went all out. I look forward to watching the keynote tomorrow at 10AM PT/1PM EST. Not only do I hope to get some WWDC writing out this week, but I look forward to seeing what all of you create.
